Sounds of Lawrence is a student-led organization of young musicians looking to pursue their passion for playing music while simultaneously using their skills and talent to contribute to the communities they are a part of. Through sharing the gift of music, Sounds of Lawrence seeks to bring a diverse community of people together, evoke emotion, and create connections in a mutually beneficial relationship between musician and client.
About Us
Sounds of Lawrence aims to realize its vision of a diverse community brought together and connected through music by catering to the music entertainment needs of individuals, organizations, venues, and event hosts in the Appleton and surrounding areas year-round.
Consisting of strings, woodwinds and brass alike, this group of fine student musicians is capable of producing anything from a classical string trio or quartet to a wind quintet or even a jazz combo.
We are available for weddings, funerals, memorials, services, banquets, dinners, auctions, networking events, parties, socials or any other events that may need music as either background entertainment or main attraction.
We collectively acknowledge that Lawrence University is situated on
the ancestral homelands of the Menominee and Ho-Chunk people.
